CONTINUOUS CASTING / METAL CASTING

Moulds, crucibles and plugs made of graphite used to manufacture non-ferrous, precious metal and grey cast-iron semi- finished products.

ELECTRICAL DISCHARGE MACHINING (EDM)

In electrical discharge machining, graphite is used as an electrode material. Graphite bears significant advantages over copper which result in lower production costs while offering identical or better quality.

SEMICONDUCTOR TECHNOLOGY

Continuous innovations and maximum material purity represent distinctive requirements of the semiconductor industry. Products made of high-purity, fine-grain graphite with carbon fibre reinforced plastic perfectly meet these requirements.

PRESSURE SINTERING TECHNOLOGY

This procedure places exacting requirements on graphite materials and their processing. It requires the control of high pressing forces at high temperatures in often oxidising atmospheres. Functional and durable press tools therefore necessitate the use of high-grade graphite materials and maximum production precision.
